Domain Names, can be search and ordered directly from the GEN Website.

Login to the website using your Portal credentials (or register if you don't have a login)

Select Tools and then Domain

Enter either: 

Part of the domain name, e.g. petespizza, and then select the scope of the search. UK, Ireland, com/net/org, EU, generic (gTLD) countries (ccTLD) or everything. 

OR, the full domain name e.g. petespizza.co.uk

Then click Lookup.

The system will check the availability of the domain using the ICANN lookup framework, and where a domain is 'available', it will then connect to the specific registery responsible for that domain name, and check again its availability. If it is still available, it will retrieve the price per year and indicate that.

Check any domains you want to order, and click BUY to order them.

Remember, once you have a domain name, you'll need to organise some hosting or services for that domain. Ask your account manager, our AI or the HelpDesk for assistance anytime.
